How long does it take?

A business plan normally takes 4 – 5 weeks to complete, although that assumes quick feedback from the client to any questions that we have. Once we allocate a BP writer to the project, they will ensure that they allocate sufficient time to get the project completed within that period. Usually, we will start the process by introducing you to one of our Accountants, who will work to create either a 3 or 5 year financial forecast, dependent on which timescale best suits your project.

In the meantime

Whilst, these figures are being worked on, we will commence work on elements such market research and a competitive analysis that will form part of the written element of the BP. The financial forecasts should be completed within 1-2 weeks and once finished, we will work on the rest of the written part of the BP. We will then produce a first draft for the client.  This draft will be amended as many times as is necessary until the client is satisfied that it is an accurate description of the proposal.

Final draft

The final draft is then sent to our formatting editor who will work on it to ensure that it looks individual to you and is best suited for your audience. The above explains the process that we go through when producing a BP. However, this is only designed to act as a guide because the process needs to remain quite fluid throughout, especially if our research highlights modifications that need to be made to the business proposal to achieve a better chance of success.
